The Liverpool invaders are possibly the longest running team in banger racing, gracing the oval tracks of the north for over 50 years now. For many years, Stan was the main man in Invader colours, and though he's sadly no longer with us, he is still seen as the figurehead of the team. 
 
A fast and successful driver, a great fondness is felt towards Stan, from those who raced with him and those who raced against him. That is testimony , not only to the driver but to the person.
 
A King of the North, and a good old fashioned banger legend.
